Leonard Cohen: Final Songs, presented by Walter Knox

A close look at the lyrics of a few songs from "You Want it Darker" and "Thanks for the Dance", the last two albums of Leonard Cohen. Co-produced with his son Adam, these albums provide insight into the final thoughts of Leonard Cohen at the close of an almost 50 year song-writing and performing career that captivated millions of fans around the world.
Walter Knox, a retired English literature teacher, combined his extensive educational experiences with a keen interest in Leonard Cohen's poetic talents. This led to a deeper understanding of the recurrent themes, the refreshing use of language, the spiritual foundations, and the surprising illumination of our interior lives found in the song writer's recorded works
